Adams 47mm suction cups are rated to hold 3 pounds (1.36kgs) in weight.
These suction cups with plastic thumb screws are ideal for foamex display boards, posters and signs up to 7.5mm in thickness on glass or any other flat, clean, dry, slick/shiny non porous, non textured surfaces like mirrors, glossy plastic and glazed ceramic tiles.
To fix a thinner board - snip a little off the end of the thread with a finger nail cutter, so that you do not drill down too far into the suction cup and pierce through the bottom of the cup.
